Earnings ReportTERUMO CORPORATION <4543> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results (based on IFRS) after the market closed on February 13th (15:30). The consolidated net income for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) increased 23.4% from the same period last year, reaching 98.6 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 124 billion yen was 79.2%, almost the same as the five-year average of 77.7%.
Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated net income for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to decrease 2.3% from the same period last year to 25.8 billion yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated net income grew 18.8% from the same period last year, reaching 35.4 billion yen. The operating profit margin rose from 16.3% in the same period last year to 17.4%.
