Earnings ReportKANEMATSU ENGINEERING CO.,LTD. <6402> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 7th (15:40). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) expanded 889 million yen, an increase 57.1% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year ordinary profit has been revised upward 11.8%, from the previous forecast of 850 million yen to 950 million yen (compared to 829 million yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 2.5% to 14.6%.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the ordinary profit for the October to March period (2H) has been revised upward 40.2%, from the previous forecast of 249 million yen to 349 million yen (compared to 422 million yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 41.0% to 17.3%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 40 yen to 46 yen (compared to 44 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the ordinary profit increased 81.1% from the same period last year, reaching 288 million yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 4.9% in the same period last year to 8.3%.
