AXELL CORPORATION <6730> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on February 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) dropped 37.5% from the same period last year to 1.32 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 1.48 billion yen was 89.8%, also surpassing the five-year average of 78.2%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to significant drop 53.1% from the same period last year to 0.15 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 0.33 billion yen, a 48.9% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 14.2% in the same period last year to 9.7%.
