Mochida Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. <4534> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on February 7th (14:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) increased 26.1% from the same period last year, reaching 7.64 billion yen. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 7.7 billion yen was 99.2%, almost the same as the five-year average of 99.2%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to turn into a profit of 0.06 billion yen (compared to a loss of 0.02 billion yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 77.5% from the same period last year, reaching 3.56 billion yen. The operating profit margin drastically improved from 6.4% in the same period last year to 11.6%.
