HOKUETSU INDUSTRIES CO., LTD. <6364> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on January 31st (13:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) was 5.59 billion yen, a 1.8% increase compared to the same period last year. The progress rate toward the full-year plan of 7.4 billion yen was 75.5%, also surpassing the five-year average of 72.0%.

Based on the cumulative third-quarter performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the January to March period (4Q) is expected to decrease 1.1% from the same period last year to 1.81 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased 66.5% from the same period last year, reaching 2.14 billion yen. However, the operating profit margin sharply declined from 13.7% in the same period last year to 5.3%.
