Earnings ReportAISAN INDUSTRY CO., LTD <7283> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on January 30th (15:20). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to December) increased 7.1% from the same period last year, reaching 17 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward 7.5%, from the previous forecast of 20 billion yen to 21.5 billion yen (compared to 17.2 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 16.3% to 25.0%, further surpassing the previous forecast of record-high profits for three consecutive terms.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (2H) is expected to increase 17.2%, from the previous forecast of 8.71 billion yen to 10.2 billion yen (compared to 7.31 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), increasing the growth rate from 19.2% to 39.7%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 63 yen to 68 yen (compared to 55 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from October to December (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 5.81 billion yen, a 4.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 7.2% in the same period last year to 6.5%.
