SUMIDA CORPORATION <6817> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision after the market closed on December 13th (16:30). The consolidated net income for the fiscal year ending December 2024 has downwardly 76.2%, from the previous forecast of 2.1 billion yen to 500 million yen (compared to 5.06 billion yen in the previous period), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 58.5% to 90.1%.

Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the July to December period (second half) consolidated net income has downwardly 99.1%, from the previous forecast of 1.61 billion yen to 14 million yen (compared to 1.78 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 9.6% to 99.2%.
