HI-LEX CORPORATION <7279> [TSE Std] announced a performance revision in the afternoon session on December 12th (15:15). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending October 2024 has downwardly 49.5%, from the previous forecast of 5.4 billion yen to 2.72 billion yen (compared to 5.32 billion yen in the previous period). This changes the outlook from an anticipated profit increase to a projection of a 48.8% decrease in profit.

Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the May to October period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has downwardly 78.4%, from the previous forecast of 3.41 billion yen to 738 million yen (compared to 5.6 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), leading to an increase in the profit decline rate from 39.2% to 86.8%.
