NORITZ CORPORATION <5943> [TSE Prime] announced a performance revision after the market closed on December 5th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending December 2024 has downwardly 38.1%, from the previous forecast of 4.2 billion yen to 2.6 billion yen (compared to 1.24 billion yen in the previous period), leading to a reduction in the profit growth rate from 3.4 times to 2.1 times.

Based on the downwardly revised full-year plan announced by the company, our calculation indicates that the July to December period (second half) consolidated ordinary profit has downwardly 42.2%, from the previous forecast of 3.79 billion yen to 2.19 billion yen (compared to a loss of 138 million yen in the same period of the previous year).
