Titan Kogyo, Ltd. <4098> [TSE-S] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 14th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) turned into a profit of 24 million yen (compared to a loss of 277 million yen in the same period last year). However, The progress rate against the 60 million yen full-year plan was 40.0%, also falling below the five-year average of 55.1%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the October to March period (second half) is expected to turn into a profit of 36 million yen (compared to a loss of 390 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a profit of profit of 72 million yen (compared to a loss of 240 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically improved from -14.7% in the same period last year to 6.2%.
