S Science Company, Ltd. <5721> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 13th (16:00). The consolidated net income for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) significantly dropped by 97.9% from the same period last year to 8 million yen, reversing from the forecast of a loss of 110 million yen to a profit.

In addition, the full-year net income/loss (non-consolidated) has been revised upward from an expected loss of 190 million yen to a loss of 99 million yen, indicating a reduction in the loss margin.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated net income dropped to 85 million yen, a 48.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from -5.3% in the same period last year to -17.9%.
