Earnings ReportToyo Tire Corporation <5105> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 13th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) increased by 20.7% from the same period last year, reaching 77.8 billion yen.
In addition, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward by 7.9%, from the previous forecast of 76 billion yen to 82 billion yen (compared to 86 billion yen in the previous period), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 11.7% to 4.7%.
Based on the full-year plan announced by the company after the upward revision, our estimate of the consolidated ordinary profit for the July to December period (second half) has been revised upward by 37.0%, from the previous forecast of 16.2 billion yen to 22.2 billion yen (compared to 47.2 billion yen in the same period of the previous year), and the declining rate is expected to decrease from 65.7% to 53.0%.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 105 yen to 110 yen (compared to 100 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 18 billion yen, a 29.9% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, the operating profit margin rose from 16.5% in the same period last year to 19.5%.
