K&O Energy Group Inc. <1663> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 12th (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) increased by 3.3% from the same period last year, reaching 8.15 billion yen. The progress rate against the 8.7 billion yen full-year plan was 93.7%, also surpassing the five-year average of 82.0%.

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to significant drop by 78.2% from the same period last year to 549 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit amounted to 2.22 billion yen, a 2.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin decreased from 10.1% in the same period last year to 9.6%.
