NORITZ CORPORATION <5943> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 12th (15:30). The consolidated operating profit/loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) turned into a loss of 415 million yen (compared to a profit of 832 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated operating profit for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to grow by 20.2% from the same period last year, reaching 3.61 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated operating loss improved to a deficit of loss of 288 million yen (compared to a loss of 444 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin improved from -1.0% in the same period last year to -0.6%.
