ASIAN STAR CO. <8946> [TSE-S] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 12th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) expanded to a loss of 122 million yen (compared to a loss of 121 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to grow by 25.0% from the same period last year, reaching 210 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary loss improved to a deficit of loss of 39 million yen (compared to a loss of 44 million yen in the same period last year). However, the operating profit/loss margin worsened from -6.5% in the same period last year to -8.4%.
