CHUGOKUKOGYO CO.,LTD. <5974> [TSE-S] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 11th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) was a reduced loss of 72 million yen (compared to a loss of 199 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to decrease by 18.5% from the same period last year to 392 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary loss improved to a deficit of loss of 114 million yen (compared to a loss of 119 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin remained almost flat, changing from -4.5% in the same period last year to -4.4%.
