NAKABAYASHI CO.,LTD. <7987> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 8th (16:00). The consolidated operating profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) turned into a profit of 448 million yen (compared to a loss of 371 million yen in the same period last year). However, The progress rate against the 1.84 billion yen full-year plan was 24.3%, almost the same as the five-year average of 23.5%.

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated operating profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to expand by 67.7% from the same period last year, reaching 1.39 billion yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated operating profit/loss turned to a profit of profit of 353 million yen (compared to a loss of 85 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin improved from -0.6% in the same period last year to 2.3%.
