Dynapac Co., Ltd. <3947> [TSE-S] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 8th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) increased by 16.0% from the same period last year, reaching 1.89 billion yen. The progress rate against the 2.6 billion yen full-year plan was 73.0%, exceeding the five-year average of 60.3%.

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to decrease by 3.0% from the same period last year to 703 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit decreased to 476 million yen, a 27.8% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin worsened from 4.2% in the same period last year to 3.2%.
