STELLA PHARMA CORPORATION <4888> [TSE-G] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 8th (14:00). The ordinary loss (non-consolidated) for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) was a reduced loss of 267 million yen (compared to a loss of 303 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit/loss for the October to March period (second half) is expected to turn into a profit of 10 million yen (compared to a loss of 457 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the ordinary loss improved to a deficit of loss of 106 million yen (compared to a loss of 139 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin improved from -150.0% in the same period last year to -95.4%.
