Earnings ReportSINFONIA TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. <6507> [TSE-P] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on November 8th (13:40). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) expanded to 5.92 billion yen, an increase of 76.2% compared to the same period last year.
In addition, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit has been revised upward by 26.1%, from the previous forecast of 11.5 billion yen to 14.5 billion yen (compared to 10.5 billion yen in the previous period), increasing the growth rate from 9.2% to 37.7%, reaches new record high for the first time in two terms.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the October to March period (second half) is expected to grow by 19.6% from the same period last year, reaching 8.57 billion yen.
In light of the strong performance, the company has increased its planned year-end lump-sum dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 75 yen to 95 yen (compared to 70 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased by 44.9% from the same period last year, reaching 3.39 billion yen. The operating profit margin significantly improved from 8.4% in the same period last year to 12.6%.
