Denkyo Group Holdings Co., Ltd. <8144> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on November 7th (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) turned into a loss of 144 million yen (compared to a profit of 35 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the October to March period (second half) is expected to turn into a profit of 684 million yen (compared to a loss of 137 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary loss expanded to a loss of 261 million yen (compared to a loss of 56 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin worsened from -0.7% in the same period last year to -1.6%.
