Earnings ReportTAKAMATSU MACHINERY CO., LTD. <6155> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 31st (15:00). The consolidated ordinary loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April to September) expanded to a loss of 288 million yen (compared to a loss of 153 million yen in the same period last year).
In addition, the full-year consolidated ordinary profit/loss has been revised downward from an expected profit of 336 million yen to a loss of 450 million yen (compared to a loss of 608 million yen in the previous period), turning to a loss outlook.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary loss for the October to March period (second half) is expected to further decrease to loss of 162 million yen (compared to a loss of 455 million yen in the same period last year).
Due to a decline in performance, the company has reduced its planned annual dividend for the current fiscal year from the original plan of 12 yen to 10 yen (compared to 10 yen in the previous period).
In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (2Q), the consolidated ordinary loss improved to a deficit of loss of 107 million yen (compared to a loss of 145 million yen in the same period last year). However, the operating profit/loss margin worsened from -3.3% in the same period last year to -3.9%.
