NOVA SYSTEM CO.,LTD. <5257> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 31st (15:00). The ordinary profit (non-consolidated) for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending December 2024 (January to September) decreased by 11.5% from the same period last year to 339 million yen. The progress rate against the 604 million yen full-year plan was 56.1%, also falling below the same period of the previous year of 79.3%.

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the ordinary profit for the October to December period (4Q) is expected to surge by 2.7 times that of the same period last year, reaching 265 million yen.

In the most recent three-month period, from July to September (3Q), the ordinary profit decreased to 125 million yen, a 20.4% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 11.1% in the same period last year to 7.5%.
