BIC CAMERA INC. <3048> [TSE-P] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 11th (15:00). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ending August 2024 expanded to 61.0% from the previous period to 26.6 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending August 2025, the profit is expected to grow by 6.5% to 28.4 billion yen. This will be the third consecutive term of revenue growth.

At the same time, the company increased the annual dividend for the previous term from 24 yen to 33 yen (compared to 15 yen in the prior term), and has decided to increase the dividend this fiscal year to 36 yen, an increase of 3 yen from the previous fiscal year.

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit increased by 42.8% from the same period last year, reaching 5.95 billion yen. The operating profit margin improved from 1.6% in the same period last year to 2.2%.
