ALTECH CO., LTD. <9972> [TSE-S] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 10th (16:30). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative third quarter of the fiscal year ending November 2024 (December 2023 to August 2024) turned into a loss of 173 million yen (compared to a profit of 24 million yen in the same period last year).

Based on the third-quarter cumulative performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary loss for the September to November period (4Q) is expected to further decrease to loss of 127 million yen (compared to a loss of 987 million yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (3Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a loss of 172 million yen (compared to a profit of 94 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from 1.3% in the same period last year to -3.9%.
