On the 2nd, Nikkei Stock Average <^N225> closed 1,889.70 yen (-2.85%) lower from the previous day to 64,325.64 yen, falling for the third days in a row. The number of stocks on Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Prime gained was 94, lost was 1436, and unchanged was 19. It was a completely discounted deal with more than 90% of stocks falling in price.

SoftBank Group Corp <9984> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 271.93 yen to The Nikkei. Below, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 202.74 yen, Tokyo Electron <8035> was at 188.06 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 114.65 yen, TDK <6762> was at 98.05 yen.

The top positive contributor was DAIICHI SANKYO <4568>, pushing up The Nikkei by 3.27 yen. This was followed by Shionogi <4507> at 3.22 yen, Sumitomo Pharma <4506> at 1.46 yen, ITOCHU <8001> at 1.42 yen, 7&i <3382> at 1.26 yen.

By industry, all 33 industries were losers. Nonferrous Metals Sector ranked as a top loser, followed by Services Sector, Glass & Ceramics Products Sector, Electric Appliances Sector, Transportation Equipment Sector, and Air Transportation Sector.
