Tokyo Electron <8035> was the highest on the list with a negative contribution of 146.83 yen to The Nikkei. Below, FAST RETAILING <9983> was at 95.74 yen, ADVANTEST <6857> was at 74.82 yen, Recruit Holdings <6098> was at 72.41 yen, Fujikura <5803> was at 41.43 yen.

The top positive contributor was SoftBank Group Corp <9984>, pushing up The Nikkei by 49.88 yen. This was followed by Kioxia <285A> at 23.70 yen, TOYOTA TSUSHO <8015> at 23.03 yen, KDDI <9433> at 19.11 yen, Mitsubishi <8058> at 15.29 yen.

By industry, 26 of the 33 industries gained. Electric Power & Gas Sector ranked first, followed by Mining Sector, Oil & Coal Products Sector, and Iron & Steel Sector. Services Sector, Nonferrous Metals Sector, and Retail Trade Sector were among the top losers.
