ZUIKO CORPORATION <6279> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 2nd (16:00). The consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027 (March to August) turned into a loss of 0.15 billion yen (compared to a profit of 0.42 billion yen in the same period last year).

Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit/loss for the September to February period (second half) is expected to turn into a profit of 1.97 billion yen (compared to a loss of 0.07 billion yen in the same period last year).

In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit significantly dropped to 0.03 billion yen, a 93.3% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin drastically worsened from 8.7% in the same period last year to 0.0%.
