Earnings ReportLIHIT LAB.,INC. <7975> [TSE Std] announced its financial results after the market closed on October 2nd (15:30). The consolidated ordinary profit for the cumulative second quarter of the fiscal year ending February 2027 (March to August) expanded 63 million yen, an increase 43.2% compared to the same period last year. Progress toward the full-year plan of 120 million yen was 52.5%, also surpassing the two-year average of 31.6%.
Based on the first-half performance announced by the company and the unchanged full-year plan, our calculation indicates that the consolidated ordinary profit for the September to February period (second half) is expected to decrease 18.6% from the same period last year to 57 million yen.
In the most recent three-month period, from June to August (2Q), the consolidated ordinary profit/loss turned to a loss of 91 million yen (compared to a profit of 5 million yen in the same period last year). The operating profit/loss margin drastically worsened from -0.6% in the same period last year to -5.9%.
