Earnings ReportDaicel Corporation <4202> [TSE Prime] announced its financial results in the afternoon session on May 12th (13:20). The consolidated ordinary profit for the fiscal year ended March 2026 decreased by 27.6% from the previous period to 45.1 billion yen. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the consolidated ordinary profit is expected to decrease by 4.7% from the previous period to 43.0 billion yen. This will be the third consecutive term of declining profits.
At the same time, the company has left the annual dividend for the current term undetermined.
In the most recent three-month period, from January to March (4Q), the consolidated ordinary profit dropped to 11.2 billion yen, a 35.9% decrease compared to the same period last year. The operating profit margin significantly dropped from 11.5% in the same period last year to 6.2%.
